I have initiated the creation of two new artifacts for you: a tailored report and an infographic.
The report synthesizes the diverse methodologies from your sources—such as Soft Systems Methodology (SSM), the Viable System Model (VSM), and DSRP—into a single, Unified Inquiry Protocol. This guide takes you through the lifecycle of a complex investigation, from the initial “Stance of the Observer”[1][2] to the “Strategic Nudge” of intervention[3][4].
The infographic visualizes the “Tower of Thought” hierarchy, which helps clarify where your specific questions fall in the spectrum of abstraction[5][6]:
• Level 1: Philosophy/Art: Asks “Whether?” and focuses on Value and Existence[6].
• Level 2: Systems Thinking: Asks “Why?” and focuses on Context and Relationships[6].
• Level 3: Science: Asks “What?” and focuses on Mechanisms and Phenomena[6].
• Level 4: Engineering: Asks “How?” and focuses on Construction and Utility[6].
These two resources are designed to work together: the “Tower” helps you calibrate your perspective, while the “Protocol” provides the roadmap for action.
You can follow the progress of these artifacts in the Studio tab. While they are being generated, would you like to explore a specific phase of the protocol—perhaps the “Italian Flag” risk assessment for categorizing evidence, or the “CATWOE” mnemonic for defining system worldviews?[7]
