The case studies here are my studies on the authenticity of various pieces relative to the source material. Academia is constructed ‘on the shoulders of giants’ where the work of early pioneers is taken, shaped and modified by each successive generation of thinkers and researchers.

Nothing wrong with this trend - after all science is living (a law is only a law until there is proof that it is wrong!). What is of concern is when the original works and authors are wrongly used and wrongly referenced. I am at liberty to use, say, Claude Shannon’s work but when I extend or modify his conclusions it should be referenced as ‘James on Shannon’ not as ‘Shannon’. To use ‘Shannon’ is misrepresentation and possibly stolen valour.

STPrism allows you to easily carry out the forensic referencing with immediate access to the source text and the context in which the pioneers observation and law/aphorism/truism/adage was born.
