This directory holds one zipped file HomeBrew-10.02.2026 of the standard set of QSets files. This should be capable of being uploaded, by drag and drop of the 12 files, onto your own NotebookLM. That is all you need to do!
Setup ...
Now all you need to do is to use your own gmail account to open the sample NotebookLM at https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/1cf8c48b-8e3c-4953-94c9-09bfae010941 Once this has been ‘added’ to your account you can also use it in a Gemini session
Try it ...
- Open the NotebookLM and start issuing prompts on the content e.g. can you summarise the views of modelling scientific data in decision making held by all authors
- Open Gemini add the NotebookLM as a resource (click on the + sign and scroll to the bottom to add the NotebookLM) then issue a prompt which uses the NotebookLM to analyse external data e.g. How would a Systems Thinker
use the ideas in QSetcritique Greta Thunbergs view of science summarised at ‘We cannot make it without science’: Greta Thunberg says climate experts are being ignored | Greta Thunberg | The Guardian
This is a ‘fixed’ snapshot of the QSet developed for Systems Thinking/Complexity. It is a valuable resource for experimentation but does not provide the latest curated source - which has expanded considerably in the number and variety of authors and reduce the pollution of sources. If you are interested in learning more there are subscription services as well as an active Research-Project programme.
It would be worth reading HomeBrew Profile to understand the pedigree of the data and HomeBrew Sample Data for an analysis of the perspectives and positioning of each author.
The background to QSets are explained in QSets - Perspectives in Practice).

Further Information
> Technical Note: The format of this zip file is that each QSet aspect has just one concatenated file with the components per author demarked by e.g. FILE: ‘Fred Emery.md’. This means that for each author (50) and each aspect (12) well inside the Notebook.md limits of 50 sources. Prompts which are realted to separate author - what does emery say - are supported by the filename and the extensive use of frontmatter metadata.
The files are ‘fixed’ in so far as they will not be changed so that subsequent work or analysis can be derived from a common basis.
